For a number of years, I’ve been lugging around a terribly damaged Dufferin Silver Leaf with blue and white inlays. It was my first cue and I was a little sentimental about it. I had accidentally left it in the trunk of a car in Mojave, CA over a summer while I deployed overseas for six months. When I got back, of course, the butt was delaminating badly. I figured it was a lost cause, but it was still straight as an arrow and I kept it around to shot with it when I wasn’t in public. I took it in to California Billiard Supply to get their opinion, fully expecting them to say to use it as a house cue and buy something else.
They didn’t. As Dufferin fans, they saw its potential, and took on the challenge.
I picked it up today. It is SPECTACULAR! Not only were they able to refurbish the butt to like-new condition, they lathed the shafts and retipped them. All of this under the tight budget I gave them. I don’t know how they pulled that off… they must have put some serious time in on it!
Thank you guys so much for your high quality and very reasonably priced work.
I will definitely be back!
