This place deserves more exposure to the public. It’s a sad reality that they had to downsize to their current location, but their service is still stop notch! They have a modest yet diverse collection of cue sticks ranging from the low 100s to even 500 (I think), perfect for the amateur shooter looking to 1-up his/her game because – let’s face it – we all feel that our playing is extremely limited and restrained by the cruddy, warped sticks at Santa Clara Billiards! So search no more, and get yours here.
They are Viking and McDermott dealers, and the last time I was there I noticed some pretty neat Poisons. I ordered my own Viking from these guys, and both Reuben and Jerry were extremely helpful in keeping me updated every step of the way (especially when Viking was ridiculously slow at responding to us). These guys’ customer service alone warrants a 5-star review here on Yelp. They even hooked me up with a really nice tube case and a scuffer, and I definitely felt I walked out with way more than I paid for.
For the beginner/amateur: ask them to let you shoot around with some of their sticks. They gave me all the time in the world to shoot with as many sticks as I wanted because they are that confident their sticks will sell. They match/beat any price you find elsewhere. Great gem of a place for your billiards, foosball, and table tennis needs.
